As we enter our third year here at Rogueliker, we’re looking to broaden our scope beyond traditional roguelikes to include rogue-adjacent games.
One such game firmly on our radar is No Rest for the Wicked, the latest title from Ori and the Blind Forest developer Moon Studios. This Souls-inspired action RPG is set to expand soon, with co-op arriving in its next update on January 22, 2026.
Originally launched as a solo experience, players will soon be able to band together with up to three others to explore its stunning, handcrafted world. The co-op mode allows players to share a persistent realm without requiring a host to be online, while enemy AI has been tweaked to better adapt to the presence of multiple players.
With the update drawing closer, Moon Studios has released an action-packed new trailer, which you can watch below.
No Rest for the Wicked is currently in Early Access and is planned to add multiplayer PvP, expanded story content, and farming before its full 1.0 release. A launch date for its full release has yet to be announced.
