Starforged Legacy is currently working its way through Early Access, and as part of that journey, the sci-fi bullet heaven roguelite has just been patched with the Hangar & Arsenal Update.
I first covered Starforged Legacy earlier this summer. The update mentioned in that article is now upon us and brings three new ships, four loadouts, and four new weapons. The headline feature, however, is the new Combat Circuit, a twelve-sector mode with a more focused loop. Here’s how it works:
Players choose routes that shape each coming sector and its rewards, decide when to begin extraction as enemy pressure rises, face bosses in sectors six and twelve and can Press On into Endless after victory.
Alongside the new update, developer Second Shift Games has just announced that it has signed with Tripwire Presents (the publishing arm of the company behind the Killing Floor series).
To mark this announcement, the game, which remains in Early Access, is currently discounted on Steam. There’s also a demo available, if you’d like to try before you buy.
