Happy May Day bank holiday to all of our readers in the UK and anyone else in Europe who has been blessed with an extra day off.
If you’re stuck for something to play during the day, then we have some good news for you. Indie studio Soy Boy Games has released a demo for its horde survival and roguelike deckbuilder crossover.
Hex Blast sees players strategise on a hex grid, chaining explosive card combos to eliminate cyber hordes. Players can customise their decks, acquire powerful chips, and discover devastating synergies to get the upper hand on the battlefield.
According to the game’s Steam description, there are four playable robots with their own unique abilities, 200+ cards, and relics to discover and enemies that will mutate and become deadlier.
The demo and the full game are available in a range of languages, including French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese, alongside English.
As of the time of writing, no release date has been announced for Hex Blast, with its Steam page simply stating “coming soon.”
