I know from firsthand experience that we are always on the lookout for good roguelike and roguelite games at budget-friendly prices.
In lieu of a big Steam sale stuffed full of discounts, this page is intended to fill that need. From now on, whenever I find a good rogue or rogue-related promotion, I’ll add it underneath the heading below.
To keep up-to-date with the latest special offers, simply bookmark this page and follow our socials, and then return here at your discretion. Happy gaming!
Right Now: Board Game Fest
The first event is close to my heart as a fan of both turn-based roguelikes and board games, because there is a lot of overlap in this sale, which is actually Steam-backed.
This event is running for a few more days, until Feb 2 (10am PT), so if you fancy grabbing a digital edition of a board game you love, or find a turn-based roguelike-type game with board game elements, I think it’s worth a looksy.
Coming Soon: Tiny Roguelikes
The second of the two events to have caught my eye this week is this one called Tiny Roguelikes, and that’s due to kick off properly on January 31st. Many of the featured games are already carrying their discounts, so it can’t hurt to check it out now if you can’t wait until Saturday.

The best turn-based roguelikes: Caves of Qud | There are some seriously incredible turn-based roguelikes out there. Of all the modern games, these are the closest to the original Rogue.
Awesome first-person rogues: Gunfire Reborn | We almost went with Blue Prince for this spot, but most people checking out first-person rogues probably want to wield a gun, you know?!
Cool roguelike deckbuilders: Balatro | Sorry, Slay the Spire fans, but this poker-solitaire deckbuilder has stolen Mike’s heart and won’t give it back.
Exciting roguelike platformers: Spelunky | Now, don’t get us wrong, Dead Cells is an incredible game, especially with all the DLC switched on. But when it comes to impact, you just can’t beat Spelunky.
Amazing action-roguelites: Hades 2 | And finally, let’s wrap things up with our favourite of them all. There’s no beating the original Hades, although Hades 2 comes pretty close!
